Save the Pool

A vital part of North Carroll for more than 60 years needs your help. The cornerstone Lineboro-Manchester Lions Club Community Pool was built to provide a safe place to learn how to swim and has served generations of families.

Today, the beloved Lions Club Community Pool faces critical structural repairs. Without urgent support, this community treasure may not fully operate past the 2026 season. Help preserve a space that has given so much to so many.

Pool History

1960's

Build a Pool

In 1957, the Lineboro-Manchester Lions Club first built the pool for safety, not just recreation. At the time, too many local children were drowning in nearby ponds and rivers.

The community came together with a simple but powerful mission: create a safe place where families could gather, where children could learn to swim, and where lives could be protected.

1990's

Swim Team

In 1995, Dan Bressler formed the North Carroll Sea Lions swim team. In the early 2010's, Coaches Mike and Cindi Federline led the team from Division VII to Division III, winning back-to-back Divisional Championships.

Federlines still coach the North Carroll Sea Lions today.

2000'S

Lap Pool

The Lions Club expands with the addition of a lap pool on the east wing of the facility.
